I’ve been MIA for the past week or so because of the recently concluded Australian Open – OK good for Wawrinka but I’m still definitely sad for Nadal, seeing as he was in pain and yet he fought till the end. Nadal’s a true champion for sure. Also, I think it’s going to be one CRAZY season for men’s tennis. I can feel it. I just hope DelPo, Murray and Rafa stay strong and healthy.
So, it seems even I couldn’t read and watch tennis at the same time and here I thought I’m pretty good at multitasking. Apparently, I’m 6 books behind my reading schedule according to Goodreads. What an underachiever! But I haven’t been super excited about this year’s new releases so far which is why I’m reading the Experiment in Terror series by Karina Halle. I am LOVING it A LOT!
No, I’m not an Ed Sheeran fan but I really loved the version that I heard from an American Idol Season 13 hopeful. I can’t find that one so I’m sticking with the original.
This song seems fitting as I’m still feeling a bit somber that Juan Martin del Potro lost in the second round of the Australian Open. It is times like that one that I really wish I can easily “retire” from being a tennis fan.
Tennis is definitely a stressful, heartbreaking and nervous breakdown inducing sport when you’re a fan. Sigh.
For the last few months, I’ve pretty much been missing a lot of my favorite TV shows. Apart from The Voice, I haven’t been quite as religious as I used to be when it comes to keeping up to date with the latest episodes of shows I used to follow a lot.
Here are the top three TV shows that I really need to catch up on:
Well, the last episode that I watched was probably just a little bit before the season 2 finale. See? I missed that much. I mean I’ve read spoilers so I know what to expect but this is definitely one show that I must download and watch right away, especially since it’s already on its third season.
I miss Daniel Grayson. And the fashion.
